A TEEPEE is a roomy, tapered tent where you can light a fire and that can be used in very strong frosts. Its supporting wooden skeleton can be used very well for the installation of various objects; flags can be hung to the top of the rods. To get a better access or in hot weather you can roll up the tent sheets. The benefits of teepees for commercial use consist in their high attractiveness. The sizes of 6, 7, 8 and 9 m are suitable while these values represent both the height and the base diameter of the tent. These tents are often used e.g. for establishing a bar or refreshment or for exhibition or selling of goods. Frequently, they are used in Swiss Alps for cheap and quick refreshments at ski lifts.
Environment: With their character teepees belong to the countryside and this is why an ideal location is where you can hammer pegs in and where you can make a fireplace. However, this is not a condition. Larger teepees can be pitched without anchoring both outside and e.g. in a hall. If required, mobile or lifted fireplaces are available.
Positioning: If possible, the location should be flat, even, dry and the area must correspond to the size of the tent. The base of a teepee is slightly oval, its longer diameter roughly corresponds to the type number of the tent, i.e. for the construction of a 6m teepee you need a circular are of 6 m and in the rear half you need approx. 1 m more for handling flap rods.
